Buggy and lacking features

NewsLife is a waste of money when compared to free services like Google Reader. Some feeds seem to have deleted themselves, others have doubled. One folder of feeds refuses to open, I just get the Mac spinning wheel and the app freezes. Some feeds refuse to be marked as read when right clicking. When browsing through a feed using the up and down buttons, suddenly NewsLife changed the feed randomly, even though the current one still had unread articles (i.e. it had not reached the end of the feed). NewsLife doesnt display some basic feed content which shows up easily in Google Reader - I think my Fail Blog subscription was one example. The design is a bit simple too - the app store sets a high standard for design, even simple designs, while NewsLife is basically a green application window with feeds on the left and text in the middle. Take a look at Sparrow or Day One for simple but interesting app designs!

For the money, there really isnt enough going for this app. Not enough features, too buggy and not slickly designed enough for the money. Use Google Reader or download another free RSS reader.
